My husband and I have strange taste when it comes to finding beauty. Though we appreciate beautiful architecture, it's the run down ramshackle building that makes us pull off the road and break out the camera. There is just something so charming about a small cabin (that is most likely uninhabitable) with weathered wood, door hanging off its hinges, moss covered roof, and rambling wildflowers that tugs at our heartstrings. We have a whole series of photos taken of little places like this. I keep thinking I will incorporate them into a project one day, but in the meantime we keep accumulating photos and admiring their unapologetic charm.
